Low Season - Schedule
The low season shuttle schedule runs from September 7 through May 31. The shuttle operates daily throughout the week, with few exceptions.
City Center
The shuttle departs at 18:45 from Centrum Kitchen & Bar (Skipagata) – see the location on Google Maps (here). After your visit, the return shuttle from Forest Lagoon to Akureyri departs at 22:00. This service provides a convenient evening transfer between the city centre and the lagoon.
The shuttle runs daily from May 7th through May 31st, except on the following dates:

December 24, 25, and 31

High Season - Schedule
The high season shuttle schedule runs from June 1, through September 6. We operate multiple daily departures directly from the harbor to make the connection convenient for cruise ship guests. We also run a daily evening shuttle departing from the city centre.
Port Akureyri
This service runs from June 1st through September 6th. In addition, this service will also operate on 18, 23, 24, 27, 31 May and 17, 21 September.
Departures from Tangabryggja (Harbor Akureyri → Forest Lagoon)
Every hour on the full hour
(09:00 June - August only) 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00

Return Trips (Forest Lagoon → Harbor Akureyri)

Our complimentary shuttle runs between Tangabryggja Harbor and Forest Lagoon on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests with a valid Forest Lagoon ticket receive priority boarding. On busy cruise days, we add departures on demand up to 3x per hour.
City Center
This service runs from June 1st through September 6th. The shuttle departs at 17:30 from Centrum Kitchen & Bar (Skipagata) – see the location on Google Maps (here) and 17:35 from Urbanfarm (Hafnarstræti). After your visit, the return shuttle from Forest Lagoon to Akureyri departs at 20:00 or 21:00. This service provides a convenient evening transfer between the city centre and the lagoon.
